Smiles All Around
I haven't updated in here for a while. But I do have reasons to smile:
1 - My grandpa had a stroke, a bad one, but he is still alive and didn't suffer any paralysis. Although his speech is impaired, he can still speak and recognizes my face (even though he now calls me "The Little One").
2 - I have had a job offer come up out of the blue and my ego stroked as well.
3 - My husband is EXTREMELY supportive of all things I do.
4 - My friends are wonderful.
5 - I am going to Cancun!!!! :)

Vacations Make Me Smile
Today I have a great big smile and it's cuz I get to go on holiday! I'm going to Mexico! Yay for holidays!

Lights Were Out But I Was Home
Last night my power went out when I was home alone. I am terrified of the dark - really, truly afraid of the dark.
I realized how much I depend on power. To see, to listen to music, to be on the computer, to watch tv, to keep my food cold...Even to see what time it is!
Today I smile because the power came back.
And I smile because my dad stayed on the phone with me for almost an hour to make me feel ok.

Family Love
No matter what I do or say, my family is always there for me. They have been such an amazing source of strength for me over the years.
They are the ones who taught me there is always something to smile about.

Red Shoes Chase Away the Blues
Today I am happy because I got to wear my new red strappy heels. :) I am lucky I get to buy myself things like that once and a while and even luckier I have two feet to wear them on.
Here's a tip for anyone feeling down - red shoes almost immediately start making you feel better - truly!

Every morning when I drive down the mountain hillside I live on I am greeted with the most amazing beauty. Miles and miles of lush farmland surrounded by gorgeous mountains on every side.
